A child once looked up to the another child, envious of their ability to be everything. They were two inseparable pairs growing into two distant countries. In a world were anything was possible, the red child chased the image of the colorless one.
Two pairs, forever.
In their chase, two other baby boys were born. They were twins. One was mutated to be invisible, and the other was sickly. They were inseparable no matter how much one hates the other, and together they grew up with a single mother, who struggled to make ends meet.
The invisible child never received any praises, only disapproval. An illness, a burden, a financial hindrance, he is just something to get rid of. Mother often said that he made his brother's life difficult. She loves the visible child more than anything in the world, or so she claimed. Yet in the end, she killed him.
Maybe the invisible child is a sickness, a vermin, a leech, but he is the only one who stayed after every hardship, the only one to see his brother for who he is, and the only one to watch his brother after death. He's the only one who stuck by his side despite everything.
